Bookshelf
The most successful investor of the 20th century, Warren Buffett, is rumored to have said that if he could have one wish it would be to read faster.
Whether it’s fiction or non-fiction, reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body. Warren Buffett, along with many other of the smartest minds in the world know this. It makes you smarter, reduces stress, improves your memory, reduces the risk of Alzheimer’s and Dementia, improves your focus, and most importantly, is enjoyable.
Reading, more than anything else, has helped me develop both personally and professionally. If it wasn’t for books like the 4-Hour Workweek this website wouldn’t exist. If it wasn’t for Starting Strength, I might not have ever learned how effective barbell training can be.
I created Travel Strong to help you become the best version of yourself, and I believe that reading is one of the most important things you can do for your health and happiness. This reading list is a collection of books that I have read and love – I’ve put it here in the hope that it will inspire you to pick one up.
I’m always on the look out for new books, so if you have any great suggestions I’d love to hear from you.
